Imagine Tours offers cycling tours
to scenic spots in the states and abroad, handpicking routes to include
interesting and exciting destinations as well as the quietest and
most picturesque roads we can find. Our goal is to keep the cost as
inexpensive as possible, and we couldn't accomplish this without our
dedicated volunteer staff!
The company began in 1989 when we
launched our “flagship” event, California Tour North,
a 5-day tour that grew to 700 riders. CTN was soon joined by California
Tour South and Canada's Big Island Tour. Still owned and operated
by one of the two original founders, Imagine Tours offers small tours
now ... casual, informal and fun.
"I have been on three cycling tours with Imagine Tours and without a doubt each one has been a special experience in its own way! Nancy does a tremendous job of routing scenic courses, providing exquisite customer service, and creating a friendly open atmosphere for all levels of cyclists."

Our cyclists tend to be regular recreational
riders, with a fairly wide range of riding speeds and styles. The
difficulty level varies from tour to tour, but you can usually count
on at least some hilly or mountainous terrain. Not only are the mountains
less populated, but that's usually where all the best scenery is.
The daily distances on our overseas tours tend to be shorter, and
often the terrain is easier.
"Having taken more than 10 trips with Imagine Tours, I continue to be impressed with every new tour. From cycling the Washington Cascades to rolling over the cobblestone streets of Spain, every Imagine Tour I've taken has exceeded my expectations. The personal attention, friendliness of the staff and the creative choice of routes are the reasons I'll continue to tour with Imagine."

We always transport your luggage
and support vans will provide water, snacks … and a ride if
necessary. But getting some miles in the saddle before the tour will
help you see more sights by bicycle ... not by van.*
* Asia and Africa tours are exceptions.
There's a seat for each participant in the support vehicles, so
you can ride as much or as little as you want. Even non-cyclists
can enjoy the sights from the van, which travels along the route
with the cyclists and stops at all the same attractions.
